Greetings and welcome to our blog. We have agreed to do this blog at the request of several people, who have asked for something incredibly funny, adventurous with award winning photos and no mention of bowel habits. A tall order (especially the last bit...)
In case you are wondering what this is all about, we are taking our long-awaited long service leave and embarking on a 6 month road trip around the USA and Canada. The trip has been months in the planning leading to the production of the Spreadsheet to end all Spreadsheets. Yes folks, we have booked accommodation for every night (Mary and Joseph's experience in Bethlehem has taught us a thing or too), and many of the activities are booked too. But you'll be happy to know that we have scheduled in some spontaneity on 23 May at 10.27 am. One of our hotels is called the Sleep Inn - a colleague of mine (D) thought we were so anal that we had scheduled when we are going to sleep in (one day only!)And so we shall, on the 22 April in Moab Utah.

FYI Tshikwara is a Venda word (from southern Zimbabwe) that means a hill with no vegetation on top. The name Dr Tshikwara stuck.
